Welcome to ResumePlusAI (https://resumeplusai.com). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and AI-powered resume building platform. By using ResumePlusAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ResumePlusAI, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Description of Services

ResumePlusAI provides:

• AI-powered resume building and content enhancement
• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) score checking and optimization
• Job Description-based resume tailoring
• AI-generated cover letters
• Professional resume templates (21+ designs)
• PDF resume upload and parsing

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

• Account creation is managed through Keycloak (OAuth2/OIDC) authentication
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• One account per person — multiple accounts may be terminated
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription Plans

ResumePlusAI offers the following plans:

• Free Plan ($0) — 1 resume, 2 basic templates, ATS score check (score only), clean PDF export
• Basic Plan ($3/month or $29/year) — Unlimited resumes, 5 premium templates, AI bullet rewriting (10/month), AI summary (3/month), ATS score + tips
• Pro Plan ($5/month or $49.00/year) — Everything in Basic, unlimited AI features, JD tailoring, AI cover letter, all 21+ templates, priority support
• Lifetime Deal ($29 one-time) — All Pro features forever, no renewals, subject to availability

International users may see pricing in USD . Plan limits and features are subject to change with reasonable notice.

5. Payments

• All payments are processed securely through Razorpay
• We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets (INR) and Visa/Mastercard (USD)
• Subscription payments are recurring — monthly or annual based on your selection
• Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• Razorpay's terms of service apply to all payment transactions

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard
• Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• After the billing period ends, your account is automatically downgraded to the Free plan
• Your resumes and data are never deleted upon cancellation or downgrade
• Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at [email protected]
• Lifetime Deal: Non-refundable after 48 hours of purchase

7. AI-Generated Content

• ResumePlusAI uses OpenAI's GPT models via Langchain4j to generate and enhance content
• AI-generated content is a suggestion — you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before using it
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated text
• AI may occasionally produce inaccurate information — always fact-check generated content
• You are solely responsible for any resume or cover letter you submit to employers
• ResumePlusAI does not guarantee job interviews, offers, or employment outcomes

8. Your Content & Data

• You retain full ownership of all personal data and content you provide to ResumePlusAI
• By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service
• We store your resume data in MongoDB with appropriate security measures
• You can delete your resumes at any time from the "My Resumes" dashboard
• We do not share, sell, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

9. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service to create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive resumes
• Misrepresent qualifications, experience, or credentials in resumes
• Attempt to bypass plan limits through automated means or multiple accounts
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the service, templates, or AI prompts
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise system security
• Resell, redistribute, or white-label the service without written permission

10. Intellectual Property

• The ResumePlusAI platform, brand, logo, templates, UI design, and codebase are owned by ResumePlusAI
• Resume templates are licensed for personal use only — you may not redistribute or sell them
• AI-generated content in your resumes belongs to you once generated
• The underlying AI prompts, scoring algorithms, and system architecture remain our proprietary intellectual property

11. Privacy & Data Protection

• We take data privacy seriously and comply with applicable data protection laws
• Authentication is handled via Keycloak (OAuth2/OIDC) — we do not store passwords
• Cloudflare Turnstile is used for bot protection — no invasive CAPTCHA
• We use Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics
• Your resume data is processed by OpenAI's API for AI features — subject to OpenAI's usage policies

12. Account Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• You may delete your account by contacting [email protected]
• Upon termination, your access to paid features will cease immediately
• We may retain anonymized data for analytics and service improvement

13. Disclaimers

• ResumePlusAI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that ATS scores will result in interview invitations
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service availability
• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies — review before use
• Template designs are for personal resume use and do not constitute professional career advice

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumePlusAI and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to ResumePlusAI in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify active subscribers via email for significant changes
• Post a notice on the website for at least 30 days

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
